Q: How long have you practiced yoga and what other forms of exercise do you like to do?
I actually started practicing yoga when Lauren opened the studio! 10 years ago? YogaSpark has literally changed my life since then. I also like to walk and play tennis.
Q: What brought you to YogaSpark?
When the studio first opened a friend asked if I wanted to try and after one class I was hooked.
Q: What do you love about practicing hot power yoga?
I love practicing hot power yoga because it is an intense workout and yet simultaneously restorative. I also love hot yoga because it's the only time I am able to spend an entire hour not thinking about anything else. In addition to obvious benefits like strength and flexibility, I love practicing yoga mostly because it has changed how I live my life off the mat; it has taught me to focus on my breath and to practice presence, acceptance, and gratitude.
Q: Can you give a word or phrase that describes yoga to you?

Q: What's your current favorite song to flow to?
I don't really have a favorite song to flow to as I'm usually focused on surviving the flow! That said, a little Beyonce or Earth, Wind & Fire for core work is always helpful! (thanks Kaitlin ;)
