Q: How long have you practiced yoga and what other forms of exercise do you like to do?
—actively practicing for the last 10 years. In my 30s I practiced bikram religiously. Also for the last 20 years I have been fitness boxing - Shadow box with weights and intense fast jumprope - I have practiced with Michael Olijade a former pro boxer turned fitness trainer.
Q: What brought you to YogaSpark?
—I had been practicing vinyasa but heard about the intensity of YogaSpark and was looking for the challenge. The inner strength I have acquired from practicing at YogaSpark has helped me feel more empowered in my boxing, other workouts and in life
Q: What do you love about practicing hot power yoga?
—The power, the heat and the therapy it all provides. Conditioning and inner strength - it has enabled me to do more in boxing, the core strength I have gained is undeniable
Q: Can you give a word or phrase that describes yoga to you?
—Mentally and physically challenging - it really does require you to stay in the moment and be fully present

Q: Do you have a favorite quote?
—“if it hurts don’t do it” famously said by Kat Suda. Haha
—“You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
Q: What yoga pose do you love practicing right now?
—handstands. I wait for the day I can just slowly flow up and stay in the air!
Q: Tell us one non yoga factoid about you
—I love acting! And great cinema moments. I have been acting since I was kid on and off. Taken classes in the city and did some fun background work on last 10 years. I think that side of myself will always be there.
