Q: How long have you practiced yoga and what other forms of exercise do you like to do?
I started practicing yoga regularly in 2006 - cannot believe it has been 17 years. I run twice a week and like exercises with my kids for fun- hiking, swimming, etc
Q: What brought you to YogaSpark?
When our family moved to downtown in 2019, I passed by the studio everyday. After took my one-week intro trial, I know I’ve found my tribe. I love the welcoming community and the instructors I am proud to call friends now.
Q: What do you love about practicing hot power yoga?
I love the hot yoga glow you get from practicing – exercises in the heated room helps with increased blood circulation and indeed makes you spark.
Q: Can you give a word or phrase that describes yoga to you?
A moving meditation. As the sign at the studio states, “Hot body, Cool mind.”
Q: What's your current favorite song to flow to?
I don’t really have one favorite song- I like the various playlists curated by our instructors.
Q: Do you have a favorite quote?
It’s not about being good at something, it’s about being good to yourself.
Q: What yoga pose do you love practicing right now?
Wheel pose is the one I am working on now. And my forever favorite pose is Savasana
Q: Tell us one non yoga factoid about you.
I love to cook and try new recipes - cooking is my in-home meditation. If you have a good recipe, please share with me.
