Nikki: How long have you practiced yoga and what other forms of exercise do you like to do?
Meredith: I took my first yoga class about 20 years ago and I have been practicing yoga on and off ever since —with the last four years committing to a (almost) daily practice. I’m a bit of a workout junkie — I love the high from running, the peacefulness of swimming, the beauty of hiking and the excitement of exploring NYC while walking my dog.
Nikki: What brought you to YogaSpark?
Meredith: The heat --I love to sweat! Coming down to YogaSpark gets me out of my neighborhood — I enjoy the change of scenery and community.
Nikki: You just completed a 30 day challenge. Congrats! What did you enjoy most about the month?
Meredith: The subway! No, really, the thrill of committing to something and the feeling of accomplishment when completed.
Nikki: Can you give a word or phrase that describes yoga to you?
Meredith: Two words ok? — Discovery and surrender.
